Trinity Laban helped me in so many ways to find my identity as a dance artist. The school offers such a diverse range of teachers and styles, which enables you to walk out after three years of training with a colourful pallet of skills. Being out of my comfort zone and constantly challenged on the course helped me gain strength to sustain a long career in the professional dance industry.
Lisa Rowley
Biography
Lisa Rowley graduated with a BA (hons) in Dance Theatre in 2008 and later joined Transitions Dance Company, graduating in 2010. She then worked with Henri Oguike Dance Company before joining ACE Dance and Music. She joined Tavaziva Dance in 2010 and has danced multiple works including Wild Dog, Double Take, Sensual Africa, Greed, Tavaziva Ten, Africarmen and Izindava. In 2015, Lisa went to Africa alongside Bawren Tavaziva to work with Dinani dance group in Ghana and has since been given the role of Rehearsal Assistant for the company. Lisa is also a founding member of Joss Arnott Dance and has toured and taught workshops with them since 2010. Lisa teaches masterclasses and workshops throughout the UK and teaches at Italia Conti on a regular basis.
