Biography
Matthias Sperling graduated from Transitions Dance Company in 1998. Since graduating Matthias has worked as a choreographer, performer and teacher. He has performed with companies including Adventures in Motion Pictures and Random Dance. His work has been presented throughout the UK and internationally and his commissions have included work for the Tanks at Tate Modern, Dance Umbrella and Candoco Dance Company. He is a frequent collaborator with Siobhan Davies with whom he has created and presented works at the ICA, Whitechapel, Turner Contemporary and the Hayward Gallery. Matthias is an Associate Artist with Dance4 and won the Bonnie Bird New Choreographer Award.
