Studying at Trinity [Laban] was a positive experience, which allowed me to grow as a complete musician and singer. There were many exciting performance and composition opportunities available, which gave me the confidence to know that I had the skillset to perform in many varied environments.

Biography

Paola studied jazz voice, graduating in 2010 with a BMus (Hons). She has performed with many artists including Kenny Wheeler, Jim Mullen and Bobby McFerrin and has played at prestigious venues including The New Morning (Paris), Ronnie Scott's (London), Nardis (Istanbul) and St Emilion Jazz Festival (France). She was a member of the London Vocal Project and Jazz Ambassadors and performed with Norma Winstone on ‘Mirrors’ by Kenny Wheeler.  Alongside performing, she is Professor of Jazz Singing and Contemporary Music at the Conservatoire de Bordeaux. Paola has released two albums, Spellbound and Addicted to My Love, and is a recipient of the Yamaha Jazz Award.
