Samuel Boden

Biography

Samuel Boden graduated in 2008 with both a first-class honours in his BMus and an MMus in Performance. He has performed in several operas including The Fairy Queen for Glyndebourne, The Return of Ulysses for English National Opera and The Turn of the Screw with the Koenig Ensemble. He also performed in the 50th Anniversary World Tour of West Side Story for Sundance Productions. Samuel’s recordings include the Monteverdi Vespers 1610 with the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, Bach Cantatas with The Bach Players and Bach B Minor Mass with Arcangelo. He has sung with the BBC Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Northern Sinfonia and the Frankfurt Radio Orchestra and appeared at the Aix-en-Provence Festival and the BBC Proms. Samuel sang the title role of Cavalli’s L’Ormindo for the Royal Opera at the inaugural season at the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse.

During his time at Trinity Laban, Samuel received the Henry William Stewardson Scholarship.
