Whilst training at Trinity Laban, I learnt a lot about shaping myself as an open-minded artist rather than just a dancer. This led to different opportunities throughout my career, and gave me a more mindful approach towards my artistic choices.

Theo Lowe graduated from Trinity Laban in 2008 with a BA (Hons) Contemporary Dance. He also studied at the Brit School for Performing Arts and Technology and completed a Postgraduate Diploma at London Contemporary Dance School. He has performed internationally with many companies including Akram Khan Company, Hofesh Shechter, Jean Abreu Dance, T.R.A.S.H (Netherlands) and Punchdrunk in their production The Drowned Man. He performed in the 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremony with Akram Khan and at the National Theatre in their 2017 production Salome. Theo is an Associate Artist at Akram Khan Company and is Director of THĒO INART, a multi-disciplinary art company.

Theo has received many choreographic commissions and his latest work was presented by Dance Umbrella in 2019. He also works as a movement director, including regularly collaborating with FKA Twigs on music videos and tours. Theo is currently an Alumni Associate Artist at Trinity Laban for the academic year 2019/20.
