Every year, we’re delighted to partner with numerous organisations across the UK and beyond in order to deliver CoLab’s extraordinary list of projects.
Here is a selection of our partners for CoLab 2017:
More than 120 leading pop and jazz educators from across Europe will be joining us to experience CoLab and debate the future of pop and jazz conservatoire education across the continent.
We’re delighted to be welcoming Taiwanese students to take part in our project “CoLab Horizons”, working with Trinity Laban students around the theme of "Different the Same".
Pulse Arts CIC is a not-for-profit organisation delivering person-centred music practice with patients, their families and hospital staff. They will be working with our students to deliver a series of concerts and workshops.
Finding Rhythms aims to create a generation of prisoners who are less likely to reoffend. As part of our “BarLines” project, they will be mentoring our students as they spend a week in HMP Thameside - a secure men's prison.
Visiting artist Nik Bärtsch is working with our students to create an innovative new music and dance piece that will be performed at the EFG London Jazz Festival and Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival later in 2017.
The V&A Innovative Leadership Programme will be visiting CoLab for the second year in a row, allowing participants both to experience and learn from CoLab, and to offer their own insights into future developments.
