Let us take you on a journey to new sonic worlds. Trinity Laban Composition Department presents a week-long festival of new music in many and various forms, showcasing the breadth of work coming out of our Composition Department.

It’s been described as a ‘playground for the creative mind’ and you can find out more and hear what our composers get up to in a series of exciting and experimental performances and events.

Conductors Jonathan TilbrookGregory Rose and Davide Levi (Sir Charles Mackerras Junior Fellow) direct Trinity Laban’s Shapeshifter instrumental ensemble and Contemporary Music Group.

Works by Benjamin Britten and Joseph Haydn sit alongside an exciting new collaboration by Peter Nagle and Soosan Lolavar, and Dominic Murcott’s award-winning composition The Harmonic Canon. Ieva Vaiti performs a DJ set in the interval, bringing the Friends Bar to life.
