Spaces are available both inside and outside this ultra modern building for your wedding reception and can accommodate up to 120 people for a seated dinner and 300 for a standing reception.

The landscaped gardens and amphitheatre of the Laban Building are designed by Vogt Architects and have a total area of 600 square metres. Wedding blessings and open air celebrations can be set against the backdrop of the awe inspiring building, and can be facilitated by a marquee for reassurance against our changeable English weather.

The café area on the ground floor overlooks the 'Teletubby' style gardens and provides direct access to the outdoor space. This is a perfect supplementary space for outdoor summer weddings - use it for a seated dinner for up to 100, for your designated bar area or for a casual seating area for guests.

Inside, the Laban Building's 'main street' is a ramped foyer space which accommodates up to 300 people for a standing drinks reception or buffet, with space for a DJ or band. The funky foyer space incorporates a vibrant dedicated bar area and features the giant Laban Building wall drawing, a specially commissioned piece of modern art, designed by Michael Craig-Martin.

For a seated meal inside the building, a large studio, primarily designed for dance, can be transformed into a fresh, contemporary setting for up to 120 guests. Team a studio with the foyer space to accommodate a pre dinner champagne reception and/or post dinner drinks, entertainment and dancing.

A flexible arrangement for catering is on offer at the Laban Building - either via the in-house provision, or via an external supplier. Trinity Laban can also help you to source musicians and performers for your celebration, via a pool of our accomplished students.
