Trinity Laban is proud to be hosting the 2nd Youth Summit on Wednesday 8th February 2023.

Running every three months with a different focus, the Youth Summit is an evening of exploration into youth social action- run by young people, for young people. A safe space to voice opinions and take part in discussions that can lead to real change.

The Youth Summit is hosted by Trinity Laban in partnership with seven other organisations – Tramshed, METRO Charity, Charlton Athletic Community Trust, Greenwich Young People’s Council, Lewisham’s Young Advisory and Lewisham Youth Theatre.

What To Expect:

The focus of this Summit is Expression, offering a space for participants to share views about things that matter to them. It’s a great opportunity hear some thoughts from the next generation of social activists, learn something new and meet people who are trying to change their communities for the better.

This Youth Summit will include:

  • a ‘Dance and Protest’ performance from Trinity Laban participants
  • a panel discussion hosted by the My London Youth Steering Group with influential members of the community
  •  a chance to have your say!

There will also be opportunities for attendees to meet one another over refreshments (meat, vegetarian and vegan options available).

All participation is completely optional. If you want just to observe that is completely fine and a valid contribution to the event.
