Final opportunity for new students to access the Diploma in Dance Teaching & Learning

Tue 5 Feb 2019

Designed to meet the needs of dance professionals working with students of any age and within a wide range of contexts and settings, the Diploma in Dance Teaching & Learning (DDTAL) is a nationally recognised and accredited teaching qualification awarded by Trinity College London (TCL).

Trinity Laban is proud to be the nation’s largest DDTAL course provider, with a 100% pass rate as of September 2018 for those who have completed the full Diploma.

Former Trinity Laban DDTAL student Jo Frater commented – “I am now a Course Leader at Rose Bruford College of Theatre and Performance, which would certainly not have happened without completing my DDTAL course. It is an incredibly valuable qualification and has really strengthened my practice.”

Though the qualification is being officially withdrawn by awarding body TCL as of 31 August 2022, Trinity Laban is offering new students a final chance to start the DDTAL course this current academic year 2018/19, beginning on 23 March 2019

Trinity Laban alumni and current staff are eligible for a 10% discount on course fees.

The part-time course comprises six units, with a mixture of practical and theory-based sessions. It is delivered by Dr Lorna Sanders at Trinity Laban in a flexible, modular structure across a maximum of three academic years, enabling new students to complete the qualification before August 2022.
