Michael Giaquinto

Biography

Michael specialises in English for Academic Purposes (EAP) and has provided language support to international students at a number of HE institutions in the UK, including University of the Arts, Goldsmiths University of London, The Royal Academy of Music, Kingston University London, and the University of East Anglia. He has spent time living in Brazil, where he worked as a language consultant at The Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. He is a member of the Trinity College London examiner panel for both language (ESOL) and music (Rock and Pop) and regularly undertakes examining tours abroad.  He is also an external examiner for the International Baccalaureate music diploma.

In addition to his language teaching qualifications, Michael also holds a BA (Hons) Music (jazz) from Middlesex University London and an MA Music (ethnomusicology) from Goldsmiths, University of London.
