FAQs

How will my award be paid?

The award will be in the form of a fee reduction, applied equally over the 3 component blocks (A, B & C) on the Teaching Musician Masters level programme. You will be invoiced for any fees remaining at the start of each year of study. As a guide, this will be around £883 for Block A before the programme starts on 20th February 2021 which you can choose to pay all at once or in instalments across the year.

Can I study Block A flexibly over 2 years if I receive a Scops Bursary?

We can only offer Scops Bursaries to those wishing to study Block A in year 1, (2021) B in year 2 (2022) and C in year 3 (2023). For more information about study options, please see the Programme Brochure

What happens if I am unable to complete my study programme?

The conservatoire reserves the right to withdraw an award from any student who withdraws from study or who is removed from the programme for reasons of inappropriate behaviour and also to require the reimbursement of award monies from students failing to complete their programme (pro-rata, based on length of academic year that remains uncompleted).
