From PhD programmes and studentships to professional doctorates, jobs.ac.uk has launched a dedicated new PhD portal where postgraduates can search for PhD programmes. There are also free careers resources specifically for postgrads.

An overview of the higher education system, what courses you can study, how to apply for postgraduate courses, fees and scholarships, exchange programmes, recognition of qualifications in the UK, and visa requirements.

AGCAS' Postgraduate guide to studying abroad
Explains what you need to do to secure a place on the course you've selected. This guide steers you through the process, from finding the right course and institution, and exploring your funding options, to preparing your application.

Floodlight - A guide to courses in London
Search for full-time and part-time courses, short courses, and evening classes at colleges, universities and adult education centres in all the London boroughs. Includes courses at postgraduate level. There are also Floodlight course guides for the following areas outside London: Brighton, Essex, Hampshire, Kent, Oxford, Reading and Surrey.

UCAS - Managing Applications to Higher Education Courses  
UCAS stands for 'Universities and Colleges Admissions Service'. It is the organisation responsible for managing applications to higher education courses in the UK. The website has information to help students to find the right course, including a searchable database of courses at undergraduate level and for postgraduate routes into teacher training.

CDET - Council for Dance Education and Training  
The website lists dance schools accredited by CDET that offer courses covering the disciplines of classical ballet, musical theatre, and contemporary dance.

Drama UK
Drama UK was created in 2012 following the merger of the Conference of Drama Schools (CDS) and the National Council for Drama Training (NCDT). The site has a course search facility which includes courses in Musical Theatre.

The Stage
Includes a list of institutions that offer training in Musical Theatre.

AEC  
The European Association of Conservatoires (AEC) represents institutions concerned with training for the music profession across 55 countries. Contact details for AEC members are listed on the website.

Dance Europe
Lists dance schools and open classes, with summary information about individual dance schools and links to their respective websites.

The Performing Arts Yearbook (Europe)
Includes a section on Further Education that lists schools, universities and conservatoires for music, dance and theatre. 

The Performing Arts Yearbook (Asia, North America & Pacific)
This directory does not have a specific section for further education, but the section listing national organisations and resource centres could be a starting point.

British Music Education Yearbook (published by Rhinegold)
This publication lists Higher Degrees (divided into academic and practical) and details of UK conservatoires and universities offering music courses, plus country-by-country listings for conservatoires across Europe. Contains details of other courses including undergraduate and postgraduate teacher training courses, summer schools for performers of all ages, specialist courses such as Alexander Technique training, arts administration and recording/music technology.
