I've hugely enjoyed and thrived in the intensely creative environment at Trinity Laban. It's allowed me to explore and experience every aspect of my musical training, whilst providing endless fantastic performance opportunities. My best experience so far has been singing the contralto solo in Ustvolskaya's Symphony No. 5 in the Royal Festival Hall with the London Philharmonic Orchestra Future Firsts as a part of ‘The Rest is Noise’ festival.
Studying at Trinity Laban has helped me improve as a singer by being able to work with the most inspiring teachers, directors and conductors in the industry, as well as being a place where individuality is supported and celebrated.
Greenwich offers a great community element to capital city living; its maritime feel and the open spaces of Greenwich Park and Blackheath give you a lot of room to breathe. London is great and offers a wealth of culture and entertainment.
McMillan is perfect for starting your student life. It's very social and in walking distance to the centre of Greenwich, as well as having great travel links to the city.
The vocal department has provided me with an amazing insight into the profession and I've been constantly supported in all my endeavours. It's a big department full of character and diversity, alongside high profile and exciting performance opportunities, which is really exciting for future generations of students.
Trinity Laban has taught me how to be the best version of me, it's allowed my individuality to be celebrated and my creativity to run wild.
