One of the things that's really amazing about the teachers at Trinity Laban is that each one is unique. Each of the classes that you have...you will always get different teachers, and each brings their own experiences, their own fundamental ways of working and that really shifts your way of thinking as a dancer.

My favourite performance experience at Trinity Laban has definitely been the second year Historical Project module. During that, we had the opportunity to recreate the works of some of the most famous choreographers, and during that process I was involved in the Wayne McGregor recreation of Polar Sequences which, on the surface, looked like the most difficult, the most challenging thing I could have chosen, but I chose it for that reason. I wanted to do something that would push me to my limits both physically and mentally. Over three weeks we recreated this work, and we performed it four times in the Trinity Laban theatre. It was one of the most incredible experiences I’ve ever had in my life, because of the reaction; the sheer adrenaline of being able to perform a McGregor work through school, and really experience that professional world through the opportunities that we have here.
