One of the most important parts of being on this course for me is getting to meet people from different countries, different backgrounds and different ages, with different ideas about what they want to do with dance. Getting to collaborate with each other has been really inspiring…we can just keep bouncing ideas back and forth off each other.
Having so many studios is amazing. At undergrad we had two and they were in the basement, not like being here where there’s 12 studios; and you walk by and you see all these different things going on in the same building. It’s not that big a building, yet so much is happening all of the time; it’s really exciting.
At the end of the day, when it’s 9pm and I’m cycling home from school, just coming from rehearsal or class, I’m exhausted; but I feel like I just lived so much in one day, and I wouldn’t want it any other way.
