I started not feeling 100% confident or sure if Musical Theatre was for me. However, after training at Trinity Laban I gained an incredible amount of confidence, because the training has been such a high standard. It’s normal if I am aching from dance classes, or neck deep in sheet music or scripts, learning songs and monologues for class. I am now 100% sure that I’m ready for this industry.

I’ve had many opportunities to perform during my three years at Trinity Laban. I played Curly in our first year production of Oklahoma at Blackheath Halls, and it was such a fun part to play and the musical was so enjoyable! Recently I performed in No One In The World at Laban Theatre and performing in that space was sensational, the theatre is such a high class venue that I felt like I was standing on a West End stage!

CoLab is great because of the collaboration between everyone in the establishment. You get to interact with people you don’t normally get to meet, and these people can then be contacts for your future career. I took away from CoLab the enjoyment of performing with and trusting people I don’t usually get to work with.

Greenwich is such an amazing place. You don’t feel like you’re in busy London but yet you look across the Thames and see London, and it only takes 30 mins to get there. However, Greenwich has a great nightlife and a great market for shopping!

Being dyslexic, I am close to the student services department. They are so fantastic and understanding, they offer a lot of help for you and are always available.

My experience at Trinity Laban has been first class and I wouldn’t change it for anything else!
