Maybe it is going to be a contradiction, but maybe I didn’t expect so much understanding from them; yes, we have a different language but as soon as we started to dance together, in the first improvisation we were really similar in how we were approaching the movement and the sensibility of movement and of dance. There was something really in common, and this is what fascinated me. As soon as we start to move we are just two human bodies together and nothing else; and it is much easier to understand each other than I expected.
