Bryony trained as a costume designer and maker at London College of Fashion, where she developed a passion for costume for dance. Her practice explores the collaborative process between body movement and the use of innovative materials. She has an experimental approach to costume design combined with historical and analytical research.

Since graduating in 2015, Bryony has worked on a number of productions for stage and screen. She continues to work for Gwen Russell Couture as a costume maker on stage productions including Disney’s The Lion King (Hamburg, Amsterdam), Disney’s Aladdin the Musical (London, Sydney), Kinky Boots (London) and The Royal Ballet’s Frankenstein.
