Biography

Lizzie is a costumier and dance artist. Following her BA and postgraduate training (Transitions Dance Company) at Trinity Laban, her career has spanned a broad spectrum of performance, teaching and costume design.

As a costume designer and maker, her work has been presented by Dog Kennel Hill/Transitions Dance Company, Ben Wright’s BGroup, Hofesh Shechter Dance Company, Rosemary Butcher, Matthias Sperling and Robert Clark, amongst many others. Her current post as Costume Supervisor at Trinity Laban spans design, production, supervision and administration of costume and performance for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes at Trinity Laban, Faculty of Dance.

Lizzie is also a performer and dance maker. Her performance credits include several works with Punchdrunk, Ben Duke/Handspring Puppet Company, Rosemary Lee, The Playground New Zealand and the EU collaboration project Beyond Front@. In collaboration with Sophie Arstall, she formed the company Average Height Ladies in 2011. They continue to create live dance theatre and film works, including commissions for Southbank Centre, Greenwich Dance and Channel 4/Big Dance Random Acts.
