Explore, create and perform with Bellingham Beats – a creative dance class for 5-13 year olds!

Bellingham Beats is a series of creative dance classes for young people ages 5-13, supporting young people to develop their dance skills, as well as work with friends to develop their own choreography.

These high-quality classes are taught by a Trinity Laban dance artist, and take place offsite in Bellingham.

16.45-17.45  – Bellingham Beats 1 (5-8 years)

17.45-18.45 – Bellingham Beats 2 (9-13 years)

Teacher: Kira Brown (maternity cover)

Venue: Christ Church, Bellingham Green, SE6 3HQ

How to Join

Upon completion of the registration form above we will be in touch when we can offer a place in the appropriate class.

Please be aware there is currently a short waiting list for Bellingham Beats 1 (5-8 years), which may take up to 1 year (approx.).

Fees

Spring Term – 11 Classes

We offer a tiered payment system for Bellingham Beats which we hope ensures that the class is accessible to all participants. We will be in touch with details on how to pay your fee when your child’s place has been confirmed.  

Standard Fee: £55, £5 per child per class

Concession Fee (for families in receipt of Universal Credit): £38.50, £3.50 per child per class

No Fee: If your child is entitled to free school meals there is no fee for the class and you will not need to make a payment. Once your place has been confirmed you will need to send us your Certificate of Eligibility for Free School Meals prior to the start of the term.

Access and Support Needs

Sessions are suitable for young people with moderate access and support needs such as autism, a learning disability and neurodiversity.

Please disclose information about access and support needs when you book a place through the registration form.  We may then contact you for further information, and implement reasonable adjustments as required.  This might include use of communication tools, reducing the potential for sensory overload etc.

Our Dance Ability class is a dedicated space for disabled young people to dance together.
