For all young dancers and musicians aged 14 – 18 years old interested in collaborating across art forms, and developing practical and creative skills.
Take part in an intensive workshop day with an internationally-renowned dance company. Hofesh Shechter Company create visceral dance work driven by live music. The scale of their striking visual choreography is matched by epic, multi-layered cinematic soundtracks created by live musicians. The company’s work explores energy and emotion, groove and rhythm.
This workshop day is a chance to learn from Hofesh Shechter Company’s percussionist and dance artist, and explore their creative process close-up.

- 10.30: Introduction and Warm Up
- 10.45 – 12.45: A. Dancers Workshop, B. Musicians Workshop
- 13.30 – 16.15: Collaborative Workshop with Dancers and Musicians & Career Insights
Spend the morning working within your preferred art form, before coming together in the afternoon to learn about and experiment with collaboration across art forms.
Musicians are welcome to bring their own instruments. Percussion instruments will be provided.

Places are allocated first to young people who live in the borough of Lewisham. All young people living outside the borough of Lewisham will be added to a waiting list and notified if/when a place becomes available. Please complete the booking form regardless of where you live.
