The Jazz Hang Main Programme @ Trinity Laban with Tomorrow's Warriors

  • Want to find your sound? Curious about jazz and want to dive deeper into improvisation? The Jazz Hang may just be for you!

The Jazz Hang is a FREE programme of weekly jazz exploration with incredible music leaders from Tomorrow’s Warriors, supported by Trinity Laban jazz students.

Come and take part in the journey, meet other like-minded young musicians and get a feel for the practical and relaxed approach at The Jazz Hang. The weekly programme runs on Sunday afternoons, with occasional Masterclass and performance events happening across the year.

We particularly welcome interest from Black and female young musicians aged 11-16. You should be at Grade 3 or equivalent on your instrument, and at an early stage of your jazz development - we are looking for potential in addition to musical ability! We have spaces for drummers, bassists, guitarists, pianists and horn players (trumpet, trombone and saxophone), although all instrumentalists are encouraged to apply.

Complete the application form below if you are interested in joining the new weekly programme, which will start in September 2023, from its new base at Lewisham Music. Before then there will be a number of taster events from May 2023 onwards, which we will be sure to let you know about in advance once you have joined our waiting list!
