The Jazz Hang Taster Sessions @ Trinity Laban with Tomorrow's Warriors

  • Sunday 12 September at King Charles Court, Greenwich. Morning session: 10am - 1pm. Afternoon session: 2pm - 5pm.

Take part in a free half-day taster session, meet other like-minded young musicians and get a feel of the practical and relaxed approach at The Jazz Hang. Following the tasters, you will have the opportunity to apply to join the weekly Jazz Hang programme of Sunday afternoon sessions, starting in early October and continuing through to the summer 2022 term.

We particularly welcome interest from Black and female young musicians aged 11-16. You should be at Grade 3 or equivalent on your instrument, and at an early stage of your jazz development - we are looking for potential in addition to musical ability! We have spaces for drummers, bassists, guitarists, pianists and horn players (trumpet, trombone and saxophone), although all instrumentalists are encouraged to apply.

Complete the application form below and select which taster session you would like to attend. The deadline for applications is Wednesday 8th September. We will let you know if your application has been successful by Wednesday 8th September.
