A weekly creative dance programme supporting young people aged 10-16 years at risk of low resilience or poor mental health.
This is a fun, creative and empowering dance class. Participants are engaged in an open and inclusive learning environment, encouraging artistic and creative expression and enabling an embodied knowledge of resilience.
The group meets every Tuesday (17.15-18.30h) during term time. The class takes place in the internationally renowned Laban building with top class dance facilities, and is led by an experienced Dance Artist, Dance Assistant and Young Dance Buddy. Participants have the opportunity to take part in termly performances, as well as trips to watch professional dance performances.
