Our Young Musicians’ Summer School will take place from Tuesday 27 – Friday 30 July 2021.

Aimed at all talented young musicians aged 11-17, come and get creative this summer and pursue your musical passions at Trinity Laban’s iconic King Charles Court campus!

If you’re passionate about making music, eager to stretch yourself with new skills, and up for making new friends with a range of musical interests and backgrounds, then this intensive 4-day summer school is for you.

Our 2021 Young Musicians’ Summer School programme will enable you to choose from a variety of performance-based, skills-building and mind-expanding workshop strands, guided by incredible musicians from Trinity Laban and beyond. Discover something to inspire you and get creative this summer!

Spend some of your time in groups making music together, with one of three Performance workshop options:

  • Project Orchestra
  • Creative Ensemble
  • Band

Add into your Summer School mix one of six Skills-Building workshop options:

  • Jazz Improvisation
  • Writing Music for Film
  • Songwriting
  • Music Technology & Sound Design
  • Vocals
  • Loops, Layers & Arranging

Once your place is confirmed, you will also have the option to choose from an exciting range of one-off mind-expanding workshops!

To apply for our Young Musicians’ Summer School 2021, please complete our online application form. Early booking is strongly advised – the summer school is likely to be very popular and capacity will be limited. The deadline for applications is 28 May.

Delivery of the Young Musicians’ Summer School will be dependent on Government Guidelines at the time of the course and is therefore subject to change. If the Summer School is unable to run as planned due to Covid-19, we guarantee to refund the full cost of course fees.

UK-Based Participants

  • £120 Full Fee
  • £60 Sibling Discount
  • £32 if in receipt of Pupil Premium

International Participants

  • £240 Full Fee
  • £80 Sibling Discount
