Creative Health at Trinity Laban
At Trinity Laban, we believe that music and dance have the power to transform lives. Our creative health programmes offer adults in our local community a chance to take part in high-quality, meaningful arts experiences that support wellbeing and enrich everyday life.
We work closely with our participants and partner organisations to shape projects around current need. We deliver a range of programmes that directly address key health challenges in our local boroughs, including social isolation, mental health conditions, chronic pain, Parkinson’s disease, brain injury, and respiratory health.
Our interdisciplinary model brings together professional artists and healthcare practitioners for delivery of sessions. Occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and other specialists work collaboratively with musicians and dancers to deliver thoughtful, person-centred sessions that support both creative expression and therapeutic goals.

It’s so nice being with people you don’t have to explain yourself to.
Having this once a week is incredibly special, initially it was to help me physically get better but the freedom, laughter and creativity is now essential to me.
Over 60’s participants
It’s one of the most important things I do for my health. I now have an emphysema diagnosis alongside bronchiectasis so my ‘singalung’ as my wife calls it – is absolutely essential for my wellbeing.
