Bea Bidault

As a choreographer, movement researcher and performer, Bea’s work delves into the intricacies of human connection and identity. Her artistic practice blends fictional, visual and sensory elements, creating performances that are captivating and thought-provoking. Recent creations have been showcased at The Place (Resolutions), Ugly Duck, Battersea Arts Centre, Uillinn West Cork Arts Centre, Museum of Modern Art in Valencia and Deltebre Festival. As a performer Bea has worked with artists including Teac Damsa under Michael Keegan- Dolan’s direction, choreographer Becky Namgauds, Akram Khan Company, Clementine Telesford & Lisard Tranis and Requardt & Rosenberg amongst others. Rehearsal director for Michael Keegan-Dolan and Becky Namgauds. Movement director for circus artist Loosey Smokes, Becky Namgauds’ film Thick Skin, for film director Will Clark (Jamon Productions) as well as leading movement research for a film test shoot produced by Disney. 

Max Revell
Growing up in Cornwall, Max began training in Plymouth, taking breaking and popping classes with Street Factory from age nine, later returning there to teach. As a teenager he travelled across the UK competing in battles, and worked with several theatre companies before joining Northern School of Contemporary Dance in Leeds. In 2019 he won the BBC Young Dancer competition, graduating NSCD in 2020 he joined postgraduate company Verve. Currently Max has been part of Akram Khan Company in the The Jungle Book Reimagined production as well as with Far From the Norm in Black Dog, he has starred as a soloist for the BBC proms 2025 festival opening.

He has directed his solo work as well as his newest choreographic work The Party, supported by Breaking Conventions, Orsalina and The Place. He was also a finalist in the popping strand of the worldwide competition Juste Debout 2025 in Paris.

Vivian is a London based award winning freelance dance artist and physical theatre performer from Greece. She has a Trinity Laban with 1st class BA in Contemporary Dance from Trinity Laban. She was chosen member of the’ Akram Khan Experiment’ and then Jasmin Vardimon 2 performing a national tour. 

She has performed for Jose Agudo Dance & Theatre Rites, WenHsin Lee &Elgiva Field, Vinicius Salles, Fernanda Prata, Ben Judd/Dionysios Tsaftaridis, Melanie Lomoff (Lowry and Rambert project), Follow Through collective, Hagit Yakira as well as acting as her rehearsal director for Royal Albert hall, and others. She has curated, performed and choreographed for Museum of London.  

She is a Dance Captain/Dance artist for Alleyne Dance and got awarded ,alongside the rest of the cast ,an Off West End award for her performance in the show by Theatre Rites and Jose Agudo. 

Vivian passionately teaches professionals ,adults and young people She has taught for: Rambert pro class, The Place, London studio Center (BA/MA) , Laban (CAT, guest BA), Royal Academy of Dance, National dance company of Wales, English National Ballet, masters of Ballet Academy and others. She was also the interim Artistic Director for Trinity Laban Youth company. 

She has founded two workshops: ‘Energy and Flow’- a professional contemporary dance workshop and ‘Movement Waves’ a community improvisation workshop. 

In the ‘Energy and Flow’ class we will start by discovering and developing our personal way of moving through improvisation and guided tasks and will then move onto set choreographic material based on floor work technique. We will work towards awaking body connections in order to play with the quantity and quality of our energy to find the flow in our movement. We will practice body totality, presence as well as developing our strength. This workshop challenges the physicality of the body, as well as the exploration of rhythms and speed. We aim to find efficiency in movement, especially in moving in and out of the earth, clarity and details. Expression and creativity are key points in our work, as well as the connection with the group and the ideas of self and togetherness. And most of all, in this workshop we want to rediscover one of the most amazing things: the joy and passion of dance itself. 

EKLEIDO is a choreographic duo made up of Hannah Ekholm and Faye Stoeser choreographing for live performance and film. They have both individually had extensive dance careers within the contemporary dance world, commercial industry and underground club/street dance scenes. They are interested in multidisciplinary collaborations, currently working with musicians at the forefront of the electronic music scene. Ekleido’s work has toured to venues and festivals including: Glastonbury, Sadler’s Wells, Latitude, Lilian Baylis Theatre, The Place, DanceEast, Exeter Northcott. With commercial choreographic credits including: Marc Jacobs, Maison Margiela, NIKE, Joy Crookes, RAYE, Floating Points, British Vogue, Daniel Avery, Grey Goose, La Roux. 

Emma Houston, aka ‘Shortbread’, is a movement artist working across theatre, commercial and underground dance scenes. Specialising in Breaking and Floorwork, Shortbread was an Elite Squad member of Breaking GB & represented the UK on the Olympic Route as well as representing on the Redbull BCone stages over the years. Starting their dance journey with Hip Hop styles, Emma went on to train in Contemporary Dance Theatre at Laban. Emma has performed & dance captained with ZooNation (Message In A Bottle) and Olivier-award winning UK Hip Hop Theatre companies Boy Blue (REDD) and Far From the Norm (Union Black) among others. Internationally Emma has worked with Ish Dance Collective (Thor) in The Netherlands and with Passing The Crown & Rapsody in the USA in 2025. Emma has collaborated as both dancer & choreographer with brands such as Adidas, Levi’s and Nike, and appeared in print for ASOS, I Am Hip-Hop Magazine, DIVA and the Hip Hop Dance Almanac.  

Luke began training at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance and completed his BA Hons degree at Laban. In 2009 he joined post graduate dance company Edge at London Contemporary Dance School. 

Professionally he has performed for a variety of companies (Punchdrunk, Flexer and Sandiland, Janine Harrington) internationally alongside working with visual artists (Florence Peake, Yvonne Rainer) performing in galleries (Tate, Hayward Gallery) 

His choreographic work has been shown at Canterbury Festival, Saddlers Wells (Damn Fine Dance at Elixir Festival), The Place, Siobhan Davies Studios, Move it 2016 and Arts Depot. He has been commissioned to create work on Loop Dance Company, Damn Fine Dance, Intoto Dance Company alongside making repertoire for student performances. 

 Luke also has a passion for teaching and has delivered classes and workshops with Rambert, The Place, Independent Dance, Laban, London Studio Centre, Salzburg Academy of Experimental Dance, Shobana Jeyasingh and Candoco. 

Class will comprise of elements of experiential anatomy, somatic practice and improvisation alongside complex and challenging exercises and movement sequences. This approach aims to marry feeling with form, aiming to keep the felt embodiment and experimentation of improvisation within the clarity and technical awareness of set material, and vice versa. The class aims to be thoughtful and explorative as well as energising and empowering. 

Jannick Moth is a contemporary dance artist based in London. He trained at Trinity Laban, graduating in 2015. He is a Senior Dance Artist with Stopgap Dance, performing internationally (Frock/Lived Fiction/RO-TES រទេះ). He has also worked as a performer for Errant/Vinicius Salles (Ox, Glitch), Abbott Dance theatre (Launch Day, Deeds Not Words) and Vivian Triantafyllopolou (Ego mas). He is an associate artist and movement director at Scrum Theatre and has also worked as a rehearsal director for Olga Spiraki, Vivian Triantafyllopolou and Nikki&JD. 
 
Jannick has also taught at Scottish Dance Theatre, Rambert Dance Company, Rambert Pro-class and others. He is also a certified Gaga teacher and teaches regularly across the UK.

Greta Gauhe is a choreographer, performer, and researcher working across dance, somatics, visual art, and digital performance. Her multidisciplinary practice explores empathy, intimacy, and ecological awareness through participatory and site-responsive performance. She is the Artistic Director of the Follow Through Collective, creating work for theatres, museums and public spaces across the UK and Europe, and was recently commissioned by the NordArt Exhibition in Germany to create a full-length work within their space. 

Greta holds two MAs from London Contemporary Dance School and Trinity Laban and is currently completing her PhD at Coventry University’s Centre for Dance Research (C-DaRE), funded by Midlands4Cities. Her research explores creative ways to experience touch remotely, developed through co-creative work with people living with chronic pain and with primary school children. 

She has performed and collaborated with artists including Florence Peake, Eve Stainton, Joe Moran, Livia Rita, SE19Dance and Matthias Sperling, and has worked as a dancer at the theatre in Würzburg, while continuing to teach and facilitate across professional, academic and community contexts. 

Beatrice is a London-based Italian teacher and dancer. In 2016, she completed her MA in Contemporary Dance at the LCDS. She has been teaching ballet and contemporary dance for the past 12 years in vocational and community settings. She has been working for organisations such as Balle4life® and the Charity Move Into Wellbeing®. In 2018, she co-created BOTH Dance Classes, a company that offers adult dance classes in London. Alongside her teaching, Beatrice continues to perform for choreographers in projects and independent work. 

These ballet classes start with simple barre exercises that build clear placement, core stability, and movement clarity. The material gradually increases in pace and complexity, preparing both body and mind for centre work. In the centre, dancers tackle longer combinations, focusing on coordination, timing, spatial awareness, and dynamics. The classes focus on fluidity and musicality, encouraging research and careful movement transitions instead of focusing on purely aesthetic forms. 

Becky (she/her) is a UK based dancer, multidisciplinary artist and Laban alumni, working as a performer, maker, researcher & facilitator. She is invested in collaborative processes and specialises in improvisation, contact & site-specific performance, working regularly outside & in galleries. She is interested in the embodied ways in which people engage with art. Her practice is influenced further by her interests in sustainability, the sensory, materiality and play. 

Amarnah Ufuoma Cleopatra is a London-born Nigerian interdisciplinary artist whose work spans contemporary dance, acting, singing, and poetry. A versatile performer, teacher, and choreographer, she trained at leading UK institutions including Laban CAT, The BRIT School, London Contemporary Dance School, and Northern School of Contemporary Dance – Verve. With over 12 years of professional experience, she has built a dynamic career rooted in performance, music, teaching, and creative collaboration. 

Her performance portfolio includes work for stage, television, short films, music videos, albums, and gallery spaces both nationally and internationally. She has collaborated with artists and organisations such as Anton Lackey, 2nd Hand Dance, Made by Katie Green, Moxie Brawl, Breach Theatre Company, Pell Ensemble, Clod Ensemble, Dorothy Allen-Pickard, Marriott Hotels, Jools Holland, Sainsbury’s, and The Guardian. 

Amarnah is a Lecturer in Dance and Unit Leader on the MA Dance Performance at The Place, and continues to teach and choreograph at LCDS, Trinity Laban, Independent Dance, and Trip Space. She has created commissioned works for The Place CAT (2023), Trinity Laban BA students (2024), and recently premiered Womb Party—a piece exploring reproductive justice— commissioned by The Place and supported by Arts Council England. 

Her practice centres self-expression, community, care, and physical rigour, creating work that invites openness, reflection, and shared human connection. 

Class description 

In Flying Low and Passing Through we practice movement pathways from the ground to standing as effortlessly and smooth as possible. Originated by David Zambrano, the idea of spiral and curved pathways in the body and in space are paramount. We flow in and out of the earth, moving as one group together, using our eyes to connect to each other and the space equally. In these classes Amarnah offers you a way to practice presence, musicality, stamina, self-expression and joy while refining specific movement pathways found in these techniques.
