- Graduate Diplomas with English Language provision – minimum of IELTS 5.5 in all 4 areas / Trinity College London – Integrated Skills in English II (ISEII)
- All postgraduate programmes (including Master’s degrees, Professional Diploma and Artist Diploma) – IELTS 6.5 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in all 4 areas / Trinity College London – Integrated Skills in English III (ISEIII)
Alternative English Language testing options
Students enrolling on programmes at degree level or above (BA, BSc, BMus, Masters), or who do not require a visa to study in the UK, can take one of the following tests, in addition to IELTS and Trinity College London – Integrated Skills in English:

We appreciate that some English Language centres may currently be closed in your country. Fortunately, a number of providers are now offering online assessments which we can use to assess students’ ability (for degree level and above programmes only).

We do not accept the Duolingo test.
Please note that we strongly encourage students to take SELT tests as outlined in the UKVI guidance where possible.
Students enrolling on Foundation programmes (or any below degree level) are required to take an IELTS for UKVI test (Academic or General Training) or one of the Secure English Language Tests (SELT) approved by the UKVI. You can only take a SELT outside the UK with one of the following providers:
