Primary School Dance Workshops
We offer creative dance workshops for early years foundation stage (EYFS) through to Year 6 in London primary schools. Workshops can be themed around a topic and delivered as a one-off session, as part of a cross-curricular day, at an extra-curricular club or as a longer-term project working towards a performance. We also offer Bespoke Projects for Schools.

Secondary School Dance Workshops
School Dance Workshop Day
At the Laban Building
Inspire your KS3-4 students with a day in our Laban Building. Our workshop day gives students an insight into professional dance training, our undergraduate courses and career opportunities in dance.
Bookable on a date of your choice for a group of your choice (up to 25 students).
The day consists of:
- a tour of the Laban building
- a talk tailored to the age group of your students, for example, hearing about our BA(Hons) Contemporary Dance programme or unpicking what’s possible with a career in dance
- a practical workshop, with one of our professional dance artists, in contemporary or hip hop , with a choice of technique or creative, or a mixture of the two
A workshop day costs £270 for up to 25 students.
It may be possible for us to accommodate up to 30 students on your visit, should our largest dance studios be available. Any additional students over 25 are charged at £10 per head. This is subject to studio availability on the dates you request and will not always be possible.
Dance Progression Taster Workshop
At your school
For 2025/26 we are able to offer schools in London and the Southeast a free Progression Taster Workshop for Key Stages 3-4, designed to support students’ aspiration in dance.
These fun sessions give students an experience of high-quality contemporary, hip-hop and/or creative dance and provide information about progression routes that they can access, including our Centre for Advanced Training (CAT). Our CAT programme identifies young people with potential and passion for dance and supports them in developing their technical and creative skills.
Progression Workshops are two-hour sessions, delivered by one of our professional dance artists. These can take place at your school on a date of your choice. Workshops can also take place at the Laban Building, subject to studio availability.
We can offer these workshops between October and July.
Please note these are funded workshops and we have a limited number to offer.
Teachers will be invited to also join a Teacher CPD session hosted at regional school venues and delivered by Trinity Laban. Teachers will be informed of upcoming CPD sessions when booking a workshop.
