Term 1 (Autumn): 14 September – 4 December (Dance); 14 September – 11 December 2026 (Music & Musical Theatre)

Term 2 (Spring): 4 January – 25 March 2027

Term 3 (Summer): 19 April 2027 –  2 July 2027 (Music, Musical Theatre, undergraduate Dance except year 3); 19 April – 9 July 2027 (Dance postgraduate taught and undergraduate year 3)

Some postgraduate master’s programmes are delivered throughout the academic year and may continue to the following academic year depending on the length of the programme. Please see the applicable Programme Specification for details the length of any specific programme and contact the Programme Leader if you have any questions.

Each academic year is divided into three terms: Autumn, Spring and Summer. At the start of each year, there is a one-week induction period that includes Freshers’ Week for new students.
