Adult Performance Project
Tuesdays
Event details
This summer term Trinity Laban is offering a unique opportunity for adults to dance and perform together.
This project is a 10-week course, taking place on Tuesday evenings in summer term, culminating in a performance at The National Maritime Museum, Greenwich. The performance will be part of a relaxed community sharing to celebrate the relaunching of the museum’s Ocean Map, in the Great Hall. The sharing will be open for family and friends to attend (details to be provided nearer the time)
You’ll work with experienced dance artist, Luke Birch, to explore creative processes and ideas resulting in a final piece. The project will develop and enhance your movement skills and creativity. Participants can expect to learn choreography, take part in creative tasks, improvise, dance individually, and in groups or with a partner.
You should be available for every rehearsal date and the final performance date to take part in this project.
Who is this for?
This open level project is suitable for participants with some experience of contemporary dance, who are open to performing to an audience. (please note that this project is not suitable for complete beginners).
