Commissioned Works July 2026: BA3 Contemporary Dance

Commissioned Works 2026 brings together our third year BA (Hons) Contemporary Dance students in the final stages of their training with guest artists, commissioned to develop brand new dance works for the Laban Theatre stage.  

For the audience, this is an incredible opportunity to see the skills and talent of our graduating dance students on stage in a range of completely new work. Students work across four projects, this year featuring choreographers Divya Kasturi, Stephanie Schober and Xenia Aidonopoulou. 

The fourth project is choreographed by Will Aitchison and features in the opera dance production L’Enfant et les Sortileges at Blackheath Halls, Thur 2 – Sat 4 July, directed by Ruth Mariner and conducted by Dr. Leo Geyer.
