Event details
Dance for Wellbeing Bellingham is a new creative dance class for adults who would like to move more confidently in a safe, supportive and welcoming environment.
Using gentle seated and standing movement, sessions combine creative dance and music to help improve balance, strength, flexibility and confidence. Movement can be adapted to suit individual needs, and participants are encouraged to move at a pace that feels comfortable for them.
The class is led by a professional Dance Artist supported by an Occupational Therapist, helping participants feel safe and supported throughout.
The class:
• welcomes adults returning to movement or exercise
• offers a gentle and enjoyable way to move more regularly
• supports confidence in seated and standing movement
• is artist-led, with an Occupational Therapist present to assist with adaptation and accessibility
• is suitable for a range of mobility levels
