Double Reeds

Join us at Trinity Laban for a FREE Double Reed Day open to oboe and bassoon players aged 11–18. Whether you’ve been playing for years or would like to start learning, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and explore exciting repertoire.

Led by Liz Fyfe and expert Trinity Laban woodwind teachers, the day will be an inclusive and inspiring environment to meet fellow double reed enthusiasts, develop your technique, and gain valuable insights into your instrument. The event features the Duck to Diva approach developed by Liz and Wells Cathedral School as part of their Mini to Mighty series, and will culminate in a massed double reed performance!

For those considering advanced study in music, we’ll also provide guidance on auditions, applications, and career pathways.
