The Practice of Remembering
[the practice of remembering sustains the practice of resistance]
The practice of remembering is an offering for people to step into an environment curated from my movement-based somatic practice. You are invited to enter and exit this durational at your leisure and stay as long as you desire. Influenced by Queer and Crip temporalities, my practice provides space for internal attunement and external sustainability. Come to rest, gather, witness, and practice- and leave with an expanded capacity for slow time and collective care.
Timetable:
15:00- 16:00: Practice through preparation by collecting, curating, and conversing.
16:00- 17:00: Drop into the practice of remembering by witnessing, sensing, and exploring.
Viewer discretion Partial nudity possible

Within the Range
Within the Range explores the threshold between everyday gesture and choreographed movement — the point where ordinary action tips into performance. Two dancers, two live cameras, and dual projection screens create a space of mediation and distance, gradually dissolving as the work progresses. Drawing on ideas of discipline, restraint, and endurance, the piece asks how closely a body can be observed, controlled, and released, and what remains when the apparatus of watching falls away.
Audience Experience Audience will be seated in Laban Theatre, with performance onstage and onscreen
17:00 Natalia Kozbial, MFA Choreography Laban Theatre (40 mins) @natikozbial

This work is a choreographic confrontation between movement and stillness. Between the impulse to act and the power of resisting. The work pushes bodies to their threshold, asking what accumulates in the body when motion is stripped away. What does it mean to hold still in a world that demands constant movement? And what does an audience feel when that stillness finally breaks?
