Lifelines 生纹
A seed breaks through soil. A tree grows upward. Leaves become a butterfly. Lifelines follows this arc — a meditation on female strength, resilience, and the journey from constraint toward freedom. Two dancers and digital animation draw from the visual languages of Southwest China’s ethnic minorities — Naxi Dongba pictographs and Miao butterfly totems. These ancient symbols are not performed. They grow from the inside out, carried in the body until the body and the symbol become one.

Anamorphosis
We don’t see things as they are, we see them as we are. In this work, Thea explores the relationship between perception and reality. Shifts in perspective can completely reshape what we believe to be true. Enter a surrealist world where questions become the answers.
