Graduate School Showcase 2026/Day 2

Intimate partner violence unfolds behind closed doors, hidden inside the texture of an ordinary relationship. In With Love, Rose, this invisibility becomes the experience itself. Structured as a treasure hunt, the piece invites its audience through a staged space of material clues, video, spoken word, and live performance. Spectators are drawn into a complex web where tenderness, seduction, control, and domination shift into one another, change places, and blur into something toxic and abusive almost without being noticed. The audience, together, follows traces deeper into this relationship, gathering fragments of a story that reveals itself once it is already underway. Post-performance talk will be offered in the cafeteria.
