The Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra

Join us for the perfect introduction to the orchestra for Primary School pupils. Guided by our presenter, the mighty Trinity Laban Symphony Orchestra will bring you on a whistle-stop tour of the different musical instruments and their families. Written 90 years ago, Benjamin Britten’s piece – The Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra – features some of the most iconic and catchy music ever composed for orchestra! Before the concert, we’ll send out a resource pack that can be accessed at school or at home, with lots of tips for listening and background information.
