Musical Theatre Summer School is open to aspiring performers (aged 16+) who want to experience the training on offer at Trinity Laban’s esteemed Musical Theatre Department. Work with West End professionals exploring dance, acting and singing, and take part in valuable audition masterclasses and stimulating workshops.

The 6-day Summer School is taught by industry professionals who guide you through a week of training in acting, singing and dancing. Throughout the week, you’ll have access to our award-winning facilities and get a real taste of theatrical training at degree level.

You’ll take a trip to the West End to see everything you’ve learnt encapsulated in a professional show. At the end of the course, you’ll take part in an informal performance giving you the opportunity to showcase creative elements from your training week. You’ll also receive a certificate of completion.

You can add something extra special and book consultation sessions in either singing or acting (subject to an additional fee). These one-to-one sessions are an excellent way to focus on a particular aspect of your individual development.

There is no audition to take part in Musical Theatre Summer School but participants should have some experience in at least one area of acting, dancing or singing. It is perfect for those considering further study, a career in musical theatre performance, or those who would like to attend the Summer School as a way of refreshing or enhancing their skills.
