Creative Dance Classes: 6-7yrs (Year 2)
Laban Building
Every Saturday
Event details
Our Creative Dance Classes develop young dancer’s movement vocabulary, their ideas and ability to create and choreograph dance. Imaginations are sparked and nurtured by our experienced teachers. Physicality, technical and performance skills develop as they progress through our programme of classes for 3-17 year olds.
In this class, children aged 6-7yrs (school Year 2), build physical coordination and confidence in a creative space that offers them the opportunity to create their own imaginative movement sequences and dance phrases, guided by their teachers.
Memory, balance and coordination skills are something that my son struggles with… I think the movement he takes part in at TL really help with that, at the same time he has never seemed to feel behind or less able than the others, who might be considered more “naturally talented” Whatever his base abilities are he still is able to develop and grow confident in what he is learning and he has really progressed so much over the years.
