Singing for Joy with Rob Gildon

Rob is a professional opera singer and workshop leader. In this workshop you will warm up your voice and learn popular songs to experience the joy of singing together. You will work on confidence in singing, including staging some repertoire.

Creative Contemporary with Luke Birch

Luke Birch specialises in making performance work for dancers over 60. His work comes from the stories and lived experience of the performers. Chatting and playing are key to the integrity and authenticity of his working process. The workshop will combine improvisation and creative tasks to make short choreographed vignettes. There will be opportunities for the class to share and reflect.

Dance Afro Jazz Groove with Bafana Matea

Bafana’s Afro Jazz Grooves dance workshop will fuse together, the 9 native South African traditional dances, to create a unique cultural expression. There will be a strong influence from the traditional, ‘Zulu’ South African movement, whilst exploring the rhythms of the latest music the African continent has to offer. The workshop will be fuelled with energy and dynamic accents.

Singing as a Choir with Lili Unwin

Lilli Unwin, a multi-genre singer and songwriter and teaches at Trinity Laban. At the heart of Lilli’s work is her passion for working with singers. These sessions will introduce you to singing as a group, listening to each other and finding the fun in group singing!

Street Dance with Icy Ice

This will be a fun filled session to get you moving, playing music that will make you smile with feel good vibes. You’ll cover a combination of hip-hop grooves, contemporary flow, jazz technique, plus so much more.

Price: Each workshop costs £8 or book all six workshops for £40.
