Creative Dance Classes: 7-9yrs (Year 3 & 4)

Event details

Our Creative Dance Classes develop young dancer’s movement vocabulary, their ideas and ability to create and choreograph dance. Imaginations are sparked and nurtured by our experienced teachers. Physicality, technical and performance skills develop as they progress through our programme of classes for 3-17 year olds.

In this class, children aged 7-9yrs (school Year 3 & 4), build physical coordination and confidence in a creative space that offers them the opportunity to create their own imaginative movement sequences and dance phrases, guided by their teachers.

The classes feel genuinely creative and child led. Teachers are amazingly patient and gifted with children.

They grow and learn with a group of children that they recognise every week and they also get to know the teachers really well.
Also it’s wonderful for them to have the experience of learning dance in such a unique building  and in professional studios. My daughter particularly values the yearly performance in the theatre. It’s really exciting for the children to have a professional stage to perform on.
