Biography

Mike Doolan is a Dancer & Strength and Conditioning coach. Graduating with a BA (Hons) in Dance Performance in 2011 and with an MFA in Dance Science in 2021 from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. As a dancer, he worked with companies such as the Greek National Opera, English National Ballet, Akram Khan Company and Andonis Foniadakis Company performing in classical and contemporary repertoire from 2010-2019.

Mike Doolan is a Dancer & Strength and Conditioning coach. Graduating with a BA (Hons) in Dance Performance in 2011 and with an MFA in Dance Science in 2021 from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. He is currently in his second year on the MSc program of Strength & Conditioning at St. Mary’s, Twickenham. As a dancer, he worked with companies such as the Greek National Opera, English National Ballet, Akram Khan Company and Andonis Foniadakis Company performing in classical and contemporary repertoire from 2010-2019.

Mike is a Contact Improvisation practitioner, organizer & teacher in London and is co-director of CI@Goldsmiths. He has taught Contact at The London Contemporary Dance School & Goldsmiths and guest teaches in the UK. He currently works in Trinity Laban’s Dance Science Department as Lab Technician while also working as a Strength Coach. Mike’s experience training performers spans across styles such as ballet, contemporary, jazz & musical theatre, coaching at the Royal Ballet Upper School (internship), Urdang Academy & London Studio Centre.
