One of the leading postgraduate dance companies in the UK.
Bringing together the world’s most exciting choreographers with exceptional young dancers.
About
We are a repertory company of 14 dynamic international dancers based at Trinity Laban Conservatoire, London’s Creative Conservatoire that proudly commissions 3 new choreographic works each year which are toured within the UK and internationally each year between March and June.
Our 2021 tour showcases a diverse range of hand selected commissions from international artists/collectives Dog Kennel Hill Project (UK), Didy Veldman (UK/NL) and Rahel Vonmoos (UK/CH). If you would be interested in Transitions performing at your venue, more details can be found in our promoter pack.
For 38 years, we have been proudly sharing our work with audiences across the globe and have taken our dance programmes to countries as far away as Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan and Jordan. Recent international tours have included performances in Spain, Malta, Finland, Cyprus, Norway, Sweden, Prague, Italy and Amsterdam.
We believe in:
Commissioning new choreographic works from UK and international artists
Sharing the quality of our work with UK and international communities
The development of creative, innovative and inquisitive artists
Passing on our knowledge through a comprehensive range of educational activities.
Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and its affect on touring dance companies, this programme will not be running in 2021/22.
