Trinity Laban orchestras and ensembles give students an exceptional insight into life as a professional musician.

Trinity Laban orchestras and ensembles give students an exceptional insight into life as a professional musician. With a range of genres and styles, our ensembles offer valuable real-life experiences to perform in prestigious venues alongside respected professionals.

With over 100 performances every term, the performance atmosphere at Trinity Laban is buzzing. Principal Study lessons, rehearsals and masterclasses are often performance-focused and you will benefit from studying with some of the world’s most respected musicians, conductors, band-leaders and directors.

Blackheath Halls, Cadogan Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall and Royal Festival Hall (Southbank Centre) are among the venues students have recently performed in. There are also opportunities to tour nationally and internationally. Auditions for orchestras and ensembles are held at the beginning of each academic year.
