With groups to suit different levels of experience in jazz, young musicians will have the opportunity to explore their creativity, work alongside world-class teachers to improvise, develop technique and perform together as an ensemble. Along the way, get advice from top jazz professionals – including Andrea Vicary and Sheila Maurice-Grey and the latest generation of Trinity Laban students, and hear them perform.

You can enrol onto one of two strands
for participants aged 11-16
An exciting day of jazz exploration and performance for girls. You will work in small groups based on your musical experience, so whether you’ve hardly improvised before or have been performing in your school jazz band for years, this day is for you.
for participants aged 16-25
Offering a more intensive opportunity to develop your skills, meet like-minded musicians and inspiring mentors. Relevant to female musicians interested in conservatoire level study of jazz and with existing experience of playing jazz.
