Biography

Sara Louisa Parry was born in Derbyshire. As a teenager, she studied singing with Pamela Cook and joined the award-winning Cantamus Girls Choir. She went on to study singing with Glenville Hargreaves at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester.

Although she studied classically, Musical Theatre was her first love and after graduating, her first professional job was in the cast of Les Misérables at the Palace Theatre, Manchester. She consequently toured with the show to Dublin and Edinburgh and also took part in the 10th Anniversary concert at the Royal Albert Hall in 1995.

Other credits include Phantom of the Opera (Ensemble) London, Evita (Ensemble) Spektrum Theater Oslo, Grease (Miss Lynch) UK tour, Oliver! (Widow Corney ) Trinity Theatre, Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella (Fairy Godmother) Trinity Theatre and Wind In the Willows (Mrs Otter) Trinity Theatre.

Sara is currently based in London and combines her teaching with a busy singing diary. She is a member of vocal trio Closer and tours the UK with the hit shows Oh! Carol and Masters of The House
