Lewisham Live is an ambitious music and dance festival taking place across four weeks every March, involving 12 shows, 9 partner organisations, 2000 young performers and an audience of 4000 people.

Lewisham Live continues to push artistic boundaries by bringing professional, high-profile artists to the borough and producing innovative, high-quality music and dance performances by young people, schools, arts organisations and youth groups.

Collectively, festival partners have introduced an innovative music and dance collaboration strand for the festival, bringing the two art forms together and developing the collaborative skills and understanding required of interdisciplinary artists in the 21st Century.

Lewisham Dance Showcase: Live Dance 2024

Live Dance is a celebration of dance open to all Lewisham Schools.

Schools create and rehearse their own dance at school with any group of their choice (a class, dance club, selected pupils) and then come to The Broadway Theatre Catford on the day of the show for a dress rehearsal on stage and an evening performance. Schools perform on one night only.

Family and friends are invited to book tickets to watch their children perform and celebrate dance in Lewisham.

Live Dance 2024 will take place in March 2024 at The Broadway Theatre, Catford.  Dates to be announced shortly.
