BA (Hons) Contemporary Dance with International Foundation Year
I love the way that there’s so much to do in London has so much to do. I’ve always wanted to be in London and it has so much more than I thought. I am enjoying the Foundation course because I can practice my English while being here in London. There is so much love put into this course. You can follow your passion and work on your English so that you’re ready to focus on dance and do your essays in the BA course.
Independent Study Programme: Advanced
Moving from overseas was daunting at first, but Trinity Laban helped me to settle in through international student social meetups and information about getting around the city. You're never without a friendly face here!
BA (Hons) Contemporary Dance
The Contemporary Dance course here is demanding in the best way possible. We are always being pushed to achieve the best from our bodies and minds, creatively and physically. Most importantly, we are seen as individual artists within the massive family which makes up Trinity Laban.
TL Life: Crosscurrent is a podcast created by composition alumnus Will Howarth giving a flavour of the artistic work being produced by the Trinity Laban community beyond the normal curriculum.
It features original music alongside interviews and discussions with students, staff and alumni about their work and up-coming performances.

BMus Performance (Voice)
During my two years at Trinity Laban I had a wealth of opportunities to be involved in opera of all kinds, and all languages. That’s what I want to do – I want to be an opera singer – and Trinity Laban has definitely helped me develop the skills to go out into the professional world and get work.
Transitions 2018
Through working with the Artistic Director of Transitions, I learned how to find confidence and security on the stage, to shine and not hide in the shadows.
PhD Creative Practice (Composition)
I’m fortunate to be able to work with lots of students and staff at Trinity Laban to develop my ideas. There’s something unique about the atmosphere here: everyone is interested, curious, engaged and looking to collaborate, which makes interesting artistic things happen.
BA (Hons) Musical Theatre Performance
The Musical Theatre tutors are fantastic and they have the highest expectations of us. Trinity Laban has helped me grow in confidence as a performer and as an individual It’s been an amazing experience, undoubtedly some of the best years of my life.

Trinity Laban has surpassed my expectations in many ways. My choice to study here was mainly motivated by their desire to bring classical music into the 21stcentury. Every time I want to start a project that’s a bit unconventional (for example, I run a punk orchestra), the staff equip me with the resources and knowledge I need to carry it out.
